Plantronics Names Ankur Goel as Managing Director, India & SAARC
UC&C industry veteran Ankur Goel will lead combined Plantronics and Polycom business in India
Plantronics (NYSE: PLT), an audio pioneer and unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) technology leader, today announced that it has appointed Ankur Goel as Managing Director for India & SAARC.
Goel will oversee both Plantronics and Polycom business in India and manage the company’s joint business spanning voice, video, content and cloud solutions for customers as they work, share, collaborate, and play. He is dedicated to providing customers with the best collaboration solutions to help their digital initiatives and expanding Plantronics’ footprint in the government, commercial and SMB sectors. He reports to Pierre-Jean Châlon, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific.
With over 20 years of experience in enterprise communication, Goel has held several key leadership roles throughout his career and has extensive technology and sales capabilities with a proven track record of execution. Prior to this role, Goel served as Sales Director of India for Polycom and has been credited for leading the company’s success and growth in the commercial and government business sectors.
