EssenceMediacom bags Media Agency of the Year awards on Day 1 of Goafest 2023
On the first day of Goafest 2023, EssenceMediacom emerged as the Media Agency of the Year, earning significant recognition for their exceptional campaigns. Their campaign titled ‘The Missing Chapter’ for Whisper India received the prestigious Grand Prix and four gold medals in the subcategory of Innovative Use of Out of Home. Additionally, EssenceMediacom secured four gold medals for their campaigns ‘Tapping Twitter’ (aimed at educating users about online safety for Google), ‘Let’s not just greet but meet this Diwali’ (for Coca-Cola), ‘Dekho Wicket Se Cricket’ (for Thums Up), and ‘The Missing Chapter’ (for Whisper). In total, the agency was honored with 20 metals.
The event also saw the bestowment of 18 Publisher ABBYs and 94 Media ABBYs on Day One of Goafest. The Media ABBYs consisted of 1 Grand Prix, 25 Gold, 33 Silver, and 35 Bronze awards. On the other hand, the Publisher ABBYs included 2 Gold, 5 Silver, and 6 Bronze awards, with 5 entries receiving a Certificate of Merit.
Mindshare, another prominent agency, achieved remarkable success by securing six gold medals for their outstanding campaigns. Their campaign ‘Aanandam Aarambam’ for Bru, which emphasized the connection between happiness and a cup of Bru, garnered recognition. Mindshare also received gold medals for campaigns such as RJ Off-Air, IPL On-Air (for Star Sports), Unilever’s B2B app reaching new heights with SHIKHAR (Peak) for Shikar, Thumbstopping Beauty Biases (for Dove), Trixy Cinegame – 3 Layers of Fun (for Kwality Walls), and Stop The Beauty Test (for Dove).
Madison claimed four gold medals for their impressive campaigns. Their campaigns included ‘Sreshth Pradhan 2.0’ (for Asian Paints Ace Te Sparc), ‘Anupama and the Go cheese Factory’ (the largest 8-minute-long brand integration in a daily soap for Go Cheese), ‘The Content Connection – How Bridging Gaps and Helping Users Led to 2X The SEO Love!’ (for Vicco), and ‘Blue Star Water Purifier Cresto becomes #1 product in Best Sellers on Amazon’ (for Blue Star Ltd).
ABP also had a significant win, securing a gold medal for their ABP Centenary Campaign in the Publisher Abby category for Best marketing of a printed newspaper/edition.
