Almarai launches Saudi Arabia’s first branded Instagram AR filter for Saudi National Day.

Saudi-based conglomerate, Almarai has partnered with creative tech agency alivenow to launch KSA’s first ever branded Instagram Augmented Reality filter for Saudi National Day. Fans can try the augmented reality lens directly from @Almarai’s Instagram page and adorn themselves with colors of the Saudi flag and fun 3D KSA glasses! 

Instagram opened its platform for brands to launch AR lenses in early August and Almarai has leveraged this opportunity by launching a perfect AR experience for their fans. Alivenow, who are official AR partners for Facebook and Instagram helped conceptualize and develop this experience. 

Adhvith Dhuddu, CEO, alivenow shared, “Since Instagram has opened for branded AR experiences, we’ve received a lot of interest from brands and agencies. It felt amazing to help an iconic Saudi brand like Almarai launch an Instagram AR experience for Saudi National Day so fans could celebrate this special day in a unique way online as well.”
