Ankoor Dasguupta moves on from SHEROES
Ankoor Dasguupta, Vice President – Brands, Marketing & Special Projects at SHEROES, has decided to move on. Having worked with brands like GENPACT, The Times of India, India Today, Yahoo! India and Opera Mediaworks, production, he joined SHEROES in August of 2017.
Taking about his experience at SHEROES, Dasguupta says. “I joined the SHEROES family at the time when some of the most important decisions were in process. From being launched on android and iOS, UX and UI enhancements, acquisitions that were done for Babygogo and Maya, building depth in conversations and content while working with some of the top brands in the country. I was pivotal in building our first Advisory Council along with initiating multiple brand conversations for solutioning along with setting up processes. With a brilliant team in place, conceptualized and enabled interesting associations. Sairee is a super cool boss and a great leader to work with and I have learnt a lot from her. The culture is simply exuberant and open. I got to work closely with multiple cohorts including product, data science, marketing, events, creative, community and PR while also representing us at forums. It has been an exciting ride. I describe SHEROES as fun place to be in with a value attached to our voice which is ‘Whatever we do, should benefit women’, the idea being to help women get ‘more from life in a high empathy and trust ecosystem. I love my journey here while being a part of a growth story.”
Commenting on what his next venture is going to be, Dasguupta says, “My next assignment will have new learnings and new challenges, in another leadership role. All I can say as of now is that I am excited about working with some of the best minds and executive leadership in a great company where I will be driving a key role.”
