Presenting the winners of the first edition of SHE
At Agency Reporter, we are firm believers in the fact that the women of today possess everything- the power, skills, and vigor to tackle everything that life throws at them, be it professional or personal. Women leaders across industries have portrayed sheer commitment to excellence and have brought about significant changes that have transformed businesses and society at large.
With the same thought in mind, we launched SHE- an initiative to recognize the women who continue to break the glass ceiling while challenging and fighting the societal stigmas that surround them.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day- 8th March 2021, we launched the maiden edition of SHE and garnered immense support and love from the industry. SHE was powered by Game.tv and supported by WICCI.
We received 130 applications across multiple sectors such as marketing, advertising, communication, gaming, business development, media, and entrepreneurship.
To ensure fair representation, we were supported by an eminent jury panel that included women leaders across countries and industries, namely:

Juhi Hajela, VP- Marketing, Game.tv expressed her thoughts on being a jury member for SHE, “Women are leading the forefront in every field, even in male-dominant industries like eSports. Celebrating their success through awards like SHE is a noble initiative. Really enjoyed being a part of the process. Great initiative. Keep up the good work.”
Vinita Bhatia, National President – Media & Communications Council, WICCI also appreciated the initiative, “It was exciting to be the Jury for the SHE initiative from Agency Reporter. The questionnaire probed the contestants to share how they dealt with difficult situations rather than just accomplishments. This is what distinguishes the winners and AR.”
Charu Raizada, Advisory Council Member, WICCI Public Relations & Digital Marketing Council shared her inputs on the applications, “SHE Awards is an initiative by Agency Reporter to celebrate and acknowledge the strength and achievements of a woman in the true sense of the word. Every entry irrespective of the category was reflective of the passion and determination showed by each of these ladies. They chose to conquer adversities and were unstoppable. Each entry was like a mini-story of willpower and purpose and I truly enjoyed reading them.”
Salone Sehgal, General Partner, Lumikai seconds that thought, ” It was so inspiring to evaluate the profiles of women leaders in the media industry, with such diverse life experiences and professional backgrounds, they have charted their own path and achieved great success, sometimes amidst immense personal struggles. It is said “If you can see it, you can be it” and these women deeply exemplify those role models that we need at every echelon of the corporate and start-up ecosystem. “
Furthermore, Suman Varma, Chief Marketing Officer, Hamdard Laboratories appreciated women venturing into different sectors, “It is great to see women venturing into new domains, especially gaming. It’s heartening to see that women who had taken a break from career for personal reasons have come back with a bang. All I can say is Go girls go, you inspire!”
