WATConsult secures 3 ‘finalists’ at NYF Advertising Awards
WATConsult, the digital and social media agency from Dentsu Aegis Network, has made its way to the finalists at New York Advertising Festival.
The campaigns include the agency’s globally renowned campaign, #PowerlessQueen which is selected in 2 categories under Digital/Mobile (Mobile Platforms – Games and Websites & Microsites – Games) while the other campaign, that made its way to the list is #KidsNotForSale again under the category Digital/Mobile (Websites & Microsites – eCommerce).
NYF Awards, one of the top-notch US-based advertising award festivals, recognizes the best work created across the globe. All entries are judged by panels of award-winning creative professionals from across the globe who are acknowledged leaders in their respective fields.
WATConsult’s most award-winning campaign #PowerlessQueen was launched for Project Nanhi Kali and was aimed at highlighting the plight of Indian women through an online chess game. The objective was to raise donations for educating underprivileged girls while #KidsNotForSale was launched for Snapdeal and Save the Children to create awareness about the issue of child trafficking in India and aimed at curbing the same.
The agency bagged 4 shortlists at NYF awards early this month for its three campaigns; PowerlessQueen, Kids Not For Sale and Give Subtitles To Suicide.
While this is the 4th US-based award function where WATConsult has been a finalist in the last one month, the other three prestigious award shows include; The One Club for Creativity’s The One Show & ADC Global Awards & Club and the 11th Annual Shorty Awards, taking the tally to 13 shortlists/finalists across International award functions.
