Exclusive: Marico’s Anuradha Aggarwal joins Star India
Industry sources confirm that Aggarwal will be in-charge of the premium channels of Disney and Star, in the newly merged business.
An old Marico hand, Anuradha Aggarwal has joined Star India, heading the premium channels of Disney India and Star India, in the newly merged business. Highly placed industry sources have confirmed the news to Agency Reporter, though Aggarwal could not be reached at the time of filing this report.
Armed with over 20 years of experience, Aggarwal is said to be one of the very few marketeers who has a keen eye for marketing and branding across categories. This is, though her first stint at broadcast business.
Aggarwal is most known for its long stints at HUL, Vodafone and Mondelez. She started her career with HUL in 1998. After spending close to 12 years in the company, she moved on as the Category Marketing Manager for Hair Care business. She then joined Vodafone in 2010 as the SVP, Brand Communications, Insights and Online.
Post that, she worked with Mondelez for a period of almost two years, before joining Marico as the CMO in 2015.
