Citroën India partners with CarWale for its ‘Last Mile Delivery’ model
CarWale announces its last-mile delivery partnership with French automobile manufacturer, Citroën, part of the Stellantis Group. This partnership enables a ‘last-mile’ vehicle delivery model in India for the brand’s first flagship offering in the country, the new Citroën C5 Aircross SUV. Customers who purchase their car 100% online, will now have an option to get the vehicle delivered at their doorstep.
Citroën currently has physical presence through its La Maison Citroën phygital showrooms in 10 cities across India – Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Kochi, and Gurugram. For customers outside the dealer network, Citroën has launched 100% direct online buying for the new Citroën C5 Aircross SUV. Customers in over 50 Indian cities will be covered through this direct online initiative and can order directly from the factory. Customers will be supported by a dedicated Test Drive fleet, E-sales advisor, Virtual Product Demo and a Doorstep Delivery facility.
After purchasing the car on Citroën’s India website, the vehicle will be delivered to the buyer by CarWale in selected cities. As part of the arrangement, CarWale through its network across India will also help Citroën get the car registered on behalf of the customer at the nearest RTO.
Customers can purchase the new Citroën C5 Aircross SUV, which has been launched in two variants— the entry-level ‘Feel’ variant and top-end ‘Shine’ variant. The C5 Aircross SUV features a 2.0 litre diesel engine – which produces 177hp and 400Nm of torque and a class leading fuel efficiency of 18.6 kmpl. An 8-speed efficient automatic gearbox is standard as well.
