Election Results Live on YouTube: ABP News, Aaj Tak Lead in Hindi Genre; Republic TV, CNN-News18 in English
Online Video Analytics company Vidooly has released a report titled ‘Indian News Channels Coverage of 2019 Election Results on YouTube.’
The report highlights the concurrent live users of the top two YouTube channels under the English and Hindi language categories, tracked on an hourly basis on the day of election results 2019. As per the report, ABP News had the most live viewers throughout the day in Hindi genre, while Republic TV got the most live viewers in English.
According to the report, ABP News YouTube channel recorded 702.42k live concurrent viewers at 9.00 am that went up to 806.74k at 10.00 am, their highest of the day. Aaj Tak’s YouTube channel recorded 431,50K live viewers at 9 AM, which was their highest on the day.
In English, Republic TV’ YouTube channel received 66.85K live viewers at 11 AM, which was their highest on the day, whereas CNN-News18 saw 51.74K live viewers on their YouTube channel at 10 AM, which was also their highest of the day.
