Goafest Day 2: Zee Entertainment received Broadcaster of the Year title
On the second day of Goafest 2023, the ABBY Awards recognized outstanding achievements in various categories, including Broadcaster, Public Relations, Design, Direct, Technology, Digital, and Mobile, encompassing several sub-categories.
The Digital Abby category emerged as the most successful with a total of 65 winners. It comprised 1 Grand Prix, 6 Gold, 15 Silver, 37 Bronze, and 6 Merit awards. Leo Burnett India secured the prestigious Grand Prix in the sub-category of ‘Craft – Creative use of Video’ for their work on Airtel 175 Replayed. Additionally, Leo Burnett India earned three Gold medals, while Enormous, White Rivers Media, and Wunderman Thompson India each received one Gold medal.
The Design category celebrated 49 outstanding works, including three Gold, 13 Silver, 16 Bronze, and 17 Merit awards. COG Culture was recognized as the Design Specialist Agency of The Year. FCB Group India achieved a Gold award in the sub-category of ‘Craft in Design – Use of Illustration’ for their creation called SHUBH DAHAN. Leo Burnett India claimed two Gold medals in the sub-categories of Environment Design and Best Integrated Design Campaign for their project titled ‘The Missing Chapter.’
The Broadcaster category showcased a total of 18 winners, consisting of six Gold, eight Silver, four Bronze, and nine Merit awards. Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited received the prestigious title of Broadcaster of the Year. They secured a Gold award in the sub-category of ‘Best TV reality show promo’ for their work on Dance Karnataka Dance – S6. Sony Entertainment Television also obtained Gold medals for their projects, including the launch of Kaun Banega crorepati season 14 and Dance Karnataka Dance – S6, along with a Gold for the launch of Kaun Banega crorepati season 14 with the theme of ‘Sanju.’
