Media Expo Excellence Awards 2020 concludes celebrating innovation in OOH Advertising
Media Expo Excellence Awards or MEA recognised the unsung heroes of OOH advertising who have demonstrated originality & innovation in their ideas & implementation of Indoor and Outdoor advertising. The night was definitely one to remember. Catch a few glimpses of the award night here –
The night saw the who’s who of the media and advertising industry including the biggest printer manufacturers, ad gurus, media agencies, outdoor planning agencies, BTL agencies, brands and vendors.
Speaking about the award night, Raj Gopal Iyer, GM Marketing of Infiniti Retail/Croma said “Any kind of award is satisfying for the creators, whether it is for advertising or media. So it is kind of motivating for people involved in this business. I would love to be a part of something like this where the industry comes together to recognise the people behind advertising initiatives.”
On the quality of award entries, renowned Adguru & Global CCO of Nihilent – Hypercollective KV Sridhar aka Pops commented “There can be better entries and there can be more entries. I think out of home is a small part of award categories and has never been treated like other media such as radio. Radio has 4-5 awards, in which Radio Mirchi is doing fantastic work. However, outdoor industry is underrated and it has never been given the kind of importance that is given to media such as radio. So, awards like MEA are an opportunity for people in the industry to really participate. Everyone should participate and bring in more competitiveness. For the first year, it is a fantastic effort and I am hoping that year on year it will become bigger and better.”
On speaking about their association with MEA 2020 and the reason why they sponsored the award night, Vardhaman Shah, Director of Suresh Indu Laser mentioned, “We have been participating in Media Expo from the last 15 years, and this year we decided to become the presenter partners for Media Expo Excellence Awards.
