Exclusive – Sumit Sehgal, CMO, Comio India, calls it quits

Sumit Sehgal, CMO, Comio India has quit the smartphone manufacturer which launched itself in India in August last year – confirm industry sources. He held the position for one year.

Sehgal joined Comio India in July 2017. Prior to that he was working with Intex Technologies as CMO for about 8 months. He played major roles and spent more than 20 years at his previous organisations, Max Life, Bharti & ITC in setting up their channel marketing and activation teams.

Sumit Sehgal could not be contacted at the time of filing this story so the news is unconfirmed but highly placed sources tells us that he is joining Omaxe Limited, a leading player in the real estate segment.
